If you’re thinking of renting a car and you’re under 25 there is little need to panic. Here at Rhino, we want to make it an affordable reality by offering you a 10% discount! The majority of car rental companies will add a young driver surcharge, which can be up to 282 South African Rand a day. Whilst we unfortunately can’t remove this surcharge all together we can offer you a 10% discount on our normal rates, making the overall cost of car rental for a driver under 25 much more achievable.
So if you’re 21-25 feel confident that you can still enjoy the many benefits of renting a car. As a young driver you will need to pay the surcharge direct to your car hire provider when collecting your car. You will also need to provide your driving licence. It is worth remembering that you must have had this for at least two years without any major endorsements, (this is the requirement for drivers of all ages).
